Sales Orders
Our system allows you to enter a sales order using your choice of order unit (e.g. KGS, Tonnes, Metres, Bars etc). You can have different units for the quantity of goods being sold, and the price of those goods (e.g. sell 3 LENGTHS priced at £4.50 per Kg etc).

An optional 'Pieces' feature can allow you to enter a number of pieces at a certain length and the system will calculate the weight required for the order.

You can generate Sale Order Acknowledgements and Stock Picking Lists as standard.
Cutting Jobs
Our system allows you to create a 'Cutting Job' at the time of sale order entry for items which require cutting down to a certain length.

You can define the number of cut pieces and the cut length required, then process the job through and specify the finished result - the system will automatically post the necessary stock movements to represent the issue of the material for cutting, and the reciept of the cut down finished items.

Alternativley, our system also features a 'manual' cutting job card facility if you require a simpler way of handling your cutting jobs.
Processing
The GSD Stockholder system allows you to create a 'Processing Job' at the time of sale order entry. Specify the processed item requested by the customer, and then go on to define the source material required and the processes to take place, including which suppliers will undertake the processing work for you.

You can then issue Processing Job Control Sheets and Sub-Contractor Processing Purchase Orders.

Once you receive the finished item back, you can process the job through confirming the finished result and the system will automatically post the necessary stock movements to represent the issue of the material for processing, and the reciept of the processed finished items.
